The best sticky traps for Canadian homes are large, unscented boards with strong glue that you can use flat or fold into a tunnel, and that are registered for sale in Canada.
Use them indoors for mice and crawling insects, not for rats.
What to look for
Glue strength
Weak glue lets mice and larger insects walk off. ZIVASKA boards carry about 30% more glue than a typical glue board; in our own pull test the adhesive reached 39.2 N compared with 24 N for a typical board.
Size
A bigger board catches more. Each ZIVASKA board is 21.7 × 13.5 cm (about 8.5 × 5.3 in).
Unscented
Unscented boards can go in kitchens and pantries without a chemical smell.
Flat or tunnel
Flat boards are best in cupboards and under sinks. Folded into a tunnel, they keep dust off the glue and give mice a covered path along walls.
Registered for sale in Canada
